Very nicely done....

It's not a flash mob if it involves multiple takes.

This is more like manufactured publicity from an airline trying hard to appear "hip."

Whether the terminology is right or not, it is apparently a voluntary effort to do something that most companies don't do - but alot of people like to do which is to act and sing. Airlines are full of public contact people who probably have a higher than average propensity to act and sing.
.
It's not something I would do but I would certainly stop and watch if I were passing by and applaud those who put forth the effort. Since several were smiling, you have to believe they enjoyed it.
.
If the company came up with this as a publicity stunt and found employees who were willing to participate, I find nothing wrong w/ the strategy.
.
It also isn't the first time that DL has engaged employees in public performance, including for previous commercials both individually and as groups. Probably won't be the last either.
.
To each their own, I guess. Part of the DL culture.

These people volunteered.....They WANTED to do this. It was a "production" filmed for a corporate Leadership conference.
It anyone has a problem with this then they really need to take a long hard look in the mirror. Life is too short to be
miserable ALL the time. To each his/her own. And as far as "an airline feeling Hip" Get use to it....Many Delta employees have something called personality....Something your probably aren't use to...

if people want to dance around for their leaders that's fine. Just don't confuse a well orchestrated production for the CLT's benefit as something that was organically created.

Does everything have to be an argument here?

Its not something Id ever participate in, but it looks like they had fun.

I thought it was pretty good. Commercialized, company orchestrated and sanctioned (no doubt) but cool nonetheless.
Not really a 'flash mob' but hey, whatever pays the bills...

Now slink back into your cave and continue to sulk over your "Precious" union of yesterday !

And while your at it, enjoy your bonus check tomorrow............I worked hard for it !

The profit sharing that will be paid out is the fruit of one of the best executed mergers in the airline industry and the solid work that made it possible.
Every Delta employee deserves credit for what DL achieved, there is no distinction between PMNW and PMDL people any more with respect to compensation or ability to achieve results for the company, and the combined efforts of DL employees will ensure that there will be many more checks like these issued.
.
I think it is only those who live in a cave who would choose to continue to attempt to divide DL employees and their efforts.
