Let me give you a piece of advice, if your trying to stir the pot, better go do some research instead of making yourself look ignorant and foolish.

I'm not an expert in the AFA's political structure. I did not know that the MEC President served as the Local Council President too. Regardless, the F/A's will be poorer if the near-term than if they had accepted the TA. And, according to their MEC/JNC they're in a worse position for a merger. The MEC/JNC said, "How do we want to be positioned for a merger? With wage rates $5-8 dollars below AA and open contracts or with better wage rates and work rules locked in?"

Finally, what I find interesting is when union hardliners attack the messenger instead of the message. They hide behind message boards as cowards and personally attack people instead of having a constructive debate. It's rather petty and not worth my time to debate.

In conclusion, I believe when a person attacks another on a message board it's due to fear. Why? Those who make personal comments or try to discredit others due so because they fear the message. I believe many times those who believe they are Union Hardline Activists or that Management is Fleecing Workers thrive on being a Demagogue. A Demagogue is a person, especially an orator or political leader, who gains power and popularity by arousing the emotions, passions, and prejudices of the people.

Why do people insult others? I believe they do so because they're insecure. In my opinion, insecure people believe it will make them feel better if they try to put someone else down, point out their mistakes, or be a demagogue to take attention off of them selves. In addition, during emotional moments people who are angry insult other people because they are not mature enough to think of a different way to handle their anger.

In more than interested in debating any issue that affects US Airways and creating a better future for all of the company's stakeholders: Shareholders, Customers, and Employees alike. What I'm not interested in is debating with people who lack the maturity to respectfully debate and show positive decorum.

I believe mature adults do not have to insult others to communicate and I will not enter into debates with people I believe are disrespectful. It's not worth my time.
