FlightSafety International To Establish Training Center at Farnborough, UK
Farnborough Airport, now a prime business aviation gateway to London, has been selected by training specialist FlightSafety International as the site for a major full-service learning center. The new training center, to be built in cooperation with Farnborough operator TAG Aviation, is scheduled to open next year. FlightSafety did not announce what aircraft types will be represented at its newest European center. The company already has full-flight-simulator facilities at Manchester (UK) Airport serving regional jet operators (Embraer ERJ 135/145) and at Paris Le Bourget Airport where FSI trains pilots and technicians on a variety of business and regional-airline aircraft. The company recently opened a sales office in Barcelona, Spain, to serve customers in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Greece and Turkey.
