Ian Groom was killed during practice on Friday afternoon, April 30, off the coast of Ft.Lauderdale,Fl. He was an excellent airshow pilot and I had the opportunity to see him fly in the 2002 OKC airshow. He was sponsored by Fed Ex at the time if I remember correctly. Hopefully NTSB can find out what went wrong and my prayers are with his family and friends during this diffcult time.
