Follow-up on DL flight, nodaio ctc, intercepted by Dutch AF

This isn't news, but follow up on something that occurred a couple of years ago.
DL flight 73 IST-JFK, had been out of radio contact for some time. Royal Dutch Air Force scrambled two F-16 to intercept and investigate.

Did anything come of this? Gov't or company investigastion. How long were they out of contact and why?

I imagine a few spilled drinks on the left side of the plane! And a few F/A call chimes.

Happens all the time. The scramble was more than likely by two airborne fighters using it as an exercise.

IIRC, it was an actual scramble. TH DL flight had been off radiofor quite some time.
