A couple weeks ago, I stopped into a company in Saskatchewan, which will remain nameless at this time. I had spoken with their Ops Manager previously, but on the day I stopped by, I talked with their CP.

The following Monday I received an email asking for references and the like. It''s been over a week now without any thing from this company. This is my first time going for a flying job, should I send a follow-up letter, or just wait a couple more days.

Cheers,

If I was you, I would made a call just to be sure evrything is alright and ask them if there''s a chance of being hired.

Good Luck!

Hey Bong

Usually if they DO ask you to supply references they are showing some kind of interest in your services and chances are they WILL call the supplied references that you forward to them. It happened that way to me, so I called my references back a couple days later. Low and behold the company HAD called them. About a week later I WAS hired. Just make sure your references KNOW you are using them prior.

Cheers

Make sure your references know that they could be called, anyhow good luck, and sit tight, Bongo.

Call your contacts first. If they''ve received a call wait. If they haven''t, give the company a call(or stop by) and confirm that they have your list of references(and to check in.)

Good Luck!

Hey guys,

I appreciate the help. I fired off an email today, so I should hear something soon. I''ll keep you posted.
