If a repbulican's misbehavior seems to get more attention I would say that hypocrisy has more to do with it than any bias in the media. When some republican who is out in public pounding on a lecturn about family values and the sanctity of marriage gets caught with a woman half his age it's probably going to get more press than if a bleeding heart liberal who did the same thing. Or the republican who adamantly opposes gay marriage who gets caught sword fighting with another dude.

Why can't we accept that all people are human? Why can't we accept that politics, much like all aspects of life are a way to divide and conquer? Have you ever in your life watched wrestling on TV? In real life, I'm sure you know they are different from their TV persona. People expect too much from their heroes, and sometimes they get a rude awakening. Christians become a target because they are expected to be Christ-like. Sorry, I am not Jesus, and as a human I am far from perfect.
