What's new

Future Republican?

They were.

They been looking the other way for close to a month.

Looks like Fox News scooped them again.

Go to Fox News and do a search of "acorn" and one of "Halliburton". So much for fair and balanced.

Hell. Go look at the court case against FOX where they testified in open court that FOX new was entertainment and not required to be truthful with their stories.

Going Down?

A professional escort who travels the East Coast seeing clients in cities from Miami to Boston has identified a photo of Senator Bob Menendez as a man who paid her for sex. The woman, in her late 30s, told The Daily Caller prior to seeing Menendez’s photo that she had been paid to provide sexual favors to several U.S. senators, including a New Jersey Democrat and other politicians who are no longer living.
The escort, who earns money having sex with men in upscale hotel rooms, said during an in-person interview that many of her wealthy and powerful customers use pseudonyms when arranging for her services, and when meeting her in person.
TheDC showed the woman a photo of Menendez, however, and she identified him as a former client.

Well gee, guess someone lied, lol!

Evidence emerged Monday that suggested the accusation Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey had cavorted with hookers in the Dominican Republican was a frame job.
Months after a conservative website first published a video of prostitutes claiming the New Jersey Democrat paid them for sex, one of those women has said she was actually paid to falsely make that assertion. The Washington Post, citing court documents and people familiar with the matter, reports that the woman now tells police in the Dominican Republican that she has never met Menendez. Exactly who paid the woman to make the claim and why remain unclear, but The Post reports that the woman identified a lawyer, who in turn fingered another lawyer as the man who paid him to find women to make the claims and gave them a script to read in the video.

The Daily Caller Responds
The Daily Caller, the conservative news site that originally ran video interviews with two alleged escorts, took issue with the Post’s report. “The Washington Post mistook one prostitute for another Monday in a report that initially seemed to debunk a November 2012 Daily Caller exposé of New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez,” The Daily Caller’s executive editor David Martosko wrote early Tuesday morning.
The Daily Caller reported that neither of the women in its video was the woman referenced in the Post’s article. Martosko wrote that the women interviewed by the Daily Caller had said they were both 24, older than the woman in the Post, and neither went by the name Nexis de los Santos. (In The Daily Caller’s interviews, the women’s faces were blurred out.)

NPR did a piece on the Menendez story yesterday. I was about this Doctor and the Senator taking flights on this guys plane down to Central America. The Senator got caught not reporting the free flights to the ethics committee. He paid it back trying to hide it from everyone, then got outed. They also talked about the FBI raid. The FBI would only say that they "had investigation activity" at the home of the Doctor. Nothing on either of them "poking little girls", but they did mention other stories ginned up from some blog (i am guessing the daily caller) about him banging prostitutes.

Yeah, right....He he he. CNN

The investigation was launched after a woman said Melgen paid for Menendez to visit underage prostitutes during a trip to the Dominican Republic, according to the broadsheet.
Federal agents continued to pursue the charges after the tipster reportedly withdrew her allegations.

CNN reported Friday that the Obama administration’s Justice Department is about to bring criminal corruption charges against Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), for accepting gifts from a Florida businessman, and then using his power as a senator to help that businessman.
According to CNN, the case involves Salomon Melgen, a donor who has paid for trips Menendez took to the Dominican Republic. The report said Menendez defended Melgen when he was accused of bilking Medicare out of funding, and that Menendez may have improperly tried to win an infrastructure contract for Melgen in the Dominican Republic.
Menendez did pay back nearly $60,000 for the free plane trips he took. He had no comment for CNN as it was about to publish the story.
CNN said Menendez has been the subject of investigation from the FBI and the Justice Department, and that formal charges could be filed soon.
Those charges would create even further friction between Menendez and the Obama administration, which are already at odds over President Barack Obama’s effort to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran. Menendez, a Cuban-American, also opposes Obama’s effort to normalize relations with Cuba.
