Bingo! We have a winner. The prices of gasoline is about to go over $3/gal, if not already there in your neighborhood. Here in Dallas, regular unleaded is only $2.89/gal.

Now when they drop the price back to only $2.50/ gal, you will think that's a reasonable price. But, think about what you were paying for regular unleaded a year ago.

I'm not one to say I told you so; however...

I was thinking more along the lines of the Iran/Contra deal but you get the idea.

Then there are the times from the 50's and 60's where the government released radioactive vapor into the air to see what would happen. (I had the source for that but lost it. I'll try and find it later) and other such events in our history where our government lied to us.

There have been so many polls that rank politicians below car salespeople that it is not even funny anymore. I think I would trust a lawyer more than I would trust a politician.

What happened to TWA 800? Who knows? It may have gone down for the reasons stated or it may not. Politicians will tell you what you want to hear or what they want you to hear. If it happens to be the truth so be it, but that is secondary to them keeping their job and power base.

Whether someone says that a BJ is not sex or that he 'did not recall being told arms were being traded in violation of federal law' they are both lies. The easiest way to tell if a politician is lying or not is to watch his lips. If they are moving, odds are it's a lie.
