Like we did not see this train coming. At the rate this is going, there will not be anyone to turn out the lights come Jan of 2009.

I know that for most presidents there is the natural procession of people leaving near the end of the terms, but it seems to me that in W's case, there are far more leaving because they are being asked to leave (either by W or by the public) than any other administration. Not like we have not figured out how this Admin works but t still surprises me every time it happens.

I wonder who is next?

He did so well with Katrina, just think of the work he could do at the DOJ. OK, don't think about it, it is kind of scary. Can't wait for that confirmation hearing. Dems are going to beat the crap out of any nominee regardless of qualifications. Politics is a vile business.

I actually watched that program live in Millenium Park (Chicago... the show is usually taped here). I loved it! During the Lasagne part and Presidential Step-in part, I laughed so hard that my sides hurt.

The sad thing is that I cannot think of a better man who is more likely to erase the current charge of cronyism that slurps through the Bush administration like a stink bomb.

I love how W is claiming Gonzo was a good guy and his name was being dragged thought the mud for 'political' reasons. Did he not watch the hearing when Gonzo took back pedaling to an Olympic level? Did he miss the part where Specter (a republican if I'm not mistaken) took Gonzo to the mat and reamed him? I guess Gonzo has nothing to worry about. Even if convicted, W would pardon him. W won't pardon those who have a legitimate reason, but if you are a loyal soldier to the W cause, you get an automatic get out of jail card. Must be nice to work for a hypocrite.

Must be convenient to exile someone from your party when they do not toe the party line or blindly support someone who lies to Congress. He seems to be one of the only republicans in Conress who has the spine to speak up against W and his cronies.
