Grinstien pulls Delta out of nose dive

Batman & Robin (Parker and Kirby) should have taken off their tights and capes as " The Caped Crusaders" in their attempt to BUY Delta <debacle> and started dressing like EXECUTIVES that know how to MANAGE a Fortune 500 Corporation. Their BUSINESS CASUAL approach to E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G will NEVER Work on the EAST COAST (where business is more traditional and the customer has Certain EXPECTATIONS). The cavalier approach of THIS Executive team in handling every aspect of running the airline will probably spell the unfortunate demise of it. Hopefully the Consultants that were brought in to ACCESS The MESS will make it CLEAR To THEM Once and For All.

"US Airways' $9 billion hostile takeover bid for Delta last November helped rally workers and executives in a joint battle to remain independent.

Employees worried that US Airways CEO Doug Parker would eviscerate Delta.

"Parker gave us a gift," said Edward Bastian, Delta's chief financial officer.

"No question about it.""

Killing morale at US Airways, and boosting it at Delta at the same time.

Pretty sorry trick when you are running US Airways.

Our leaders marketing skills.....DUH.....

"There are all kinds of junk fares in the market, particularly in Southwest (Airline's) market," US Airways President Scott Kirby said. "What happens is Southwest puts a Ding! fare on the market. One airline finds it, matches it, everyone else matches that airline. Southwest pulls the Ding! fare 24 hours later, but nobody can track it very effectively, then it winds up staying in the market."

As much as I would like to say "unbelievable", it really isn't. Both that Scooter would actually run a business that way and admit to it. Heaven help US.

Even CCY was never this bad, was it?

Whats even sadder is our own people are using the competition to get back and forth to work.Same fare ( Im flying on reliable) nuff said.
