Has Chaos Started?

I thought it was originally coming out of their retirement plan. I do recall that some sort of concession was given so they wouldn't have to pay the fine. I agree though that the flight attendants would be killing themselves by taking matters into their own hands. I'm not saying that they have any other choice either. The flight attendents have known about the transfer of their pensions for months now and have decided to try to do something about it at the last minute. Nice planning.

Ok - getting back to the topic - is CHAOS really going to happen or is it just an unable threat that legally cannot happen?

They can't legally strike, and the AFA's lawyers know it. That's why there hasn't been any CHAOS actions to date. To paraphrase one of Shakespeare's characters (at least I think it was Shakespeare), all of the AFA's pronouncements are "a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing."
