Has it ever occured to anyone else that we are living in DISCOUNTED world?
Low cost carriers..........
Walmarts.......................
COSTCO.....
home centers.................
discounted this...........discounted that..........................
Maybe the reason this society is discounted everything is a way to keep wages down. No sense in demanding higher wages because people are only willing to pay $79 to fly a $60 million dollar aircraft to California from NY.
No sense in demanding higher wages cause Walmart sells goods far cheaper than ANYONE on the planet!
"Why the hell do you working class stiffs need a raise, go to Walmart and get a pair of jeans for $14.99"
"Why the hell do you working class stiffs need more money when you can fly JetBlue NY to FLA for the same price as taking you family out to a modest dinner!"
The flying public are controlling prices, plain and simple.
But yet, these are the same people that will gladly pay a plumber $85 to come to the house to change a washer with the crack of his ass hanging out.
These are the same people that will pay a couple of hundred the dollars to have the brakes done on their car...pay more to have it tuned up than the average airfare.
We are indeed screwed as working persons!
