That's a cop out and not a very good one as the role of the federal Government is clearly enumerated in the COTUS. I put my faith in God and Man, You put your faith in spineless bureaucrats and snake oil salesmen like the Empty Suit. Over time it has been shown which group delivers and which group delivers empty promises. Want proof? Drive to an Indian Reservation or Appalachia and see exactly how well your beloved Federal Government delivers on its promises.

We got them addicted to booze. We put them ion reservations which were the antithesis to their nomadic way of life. This country muddled along educating it's children to a very high standard for over 200 Years without a Department of Education at the Federal Level. Now that we have MORE money and MORE Government intervention have the test scores and our International ranking gone up or down?

Why should you pay what? If the gooberment was OUT of all the things they're supposed to out of there would be no cost to you in the form of higher taxes. So now you'll retreat to the Insurance argument. Let's say for arguments sake you pay 10& more due to the rising tide of Obesity. a 10% increase in your Health & auto insurance for me works out to about $75 dollars per month and that highly exagerated by a factor of 3. So in a year I'm out $900.00 to care for the porkers. However if the Feds operated within the framework as defined by the COTUS then there would be no personal income tax which for me is about $12,000 annually. So if we followed the COTUS I'd be $11,100 to the good and little Billy could gorge himself on Big macs until his little ticker bites the dust. I'll take that deal.

If things remain as is then the $900 is the going rate for Liberty and that's a good price in my book.
