Helijet Hiring On The Ramp

Says they are looking for someone on the Ramp.. I don't know enough about Helijet to know if it leads to a flying job or not.

Only one problem. Goodluck being able to live in Victoria on whatever they pay.

Very true, Victoria and Vancouver are both expensive places to live.

Helijet is a good company, they will give you as much of a chance as they can.

When I was there, lots of rampies used to do the early morning repositioning flights from Vancouver International to the downtown heliport. Only .2 at a time, but you are cruising around at night in a 76 in a busy terminal airspace. Worth getting up early for when you are only starting out.

As I said above, they were very good to me. I left due to family issues. I was never a rampie for them, but met a lot of happy ones when I was there.

i agree with rotorhead. quite a few of the pilots on the roster today came up from the ramp............
