Not syphoning any customers from Frontier Fly, because F9's pax carried is increasing year over year. What they (UAL) are doing is stimulating the market and flying more pax as well. Since UAL is much bigger than F9, an equal increase in the percentage of passengers carried will certainly give UAL a higher "Market Share". The devil of it is how can we convert this increased volume into a profit?
