Has anyone heard anything about Branson moving his entire Virgin Atlantic headquarters to the US and becoming a US flagship carrier in some sort of deal that involves Usairways? Im not talking about VirginUSA. Was told this by a British Airways 747 Captain. :huh:

1. A VS transition to a US-flag carrier would mean the loss of its LHR TATL landing rights, not to mention an array of new restrictions on beyond LON traffic.

2. In the past, BA has floated all kinds of rumors about VS. A BA Captain is, next to the BA Chairman himself, the least reliable source out there on VS company info.
