🙁

Well folks, does anyone know of any hiring in the western or northern parts? Don't know how far 3000 hours takes ya nowadays..

3000! Wow! I am just a young pup up and coming I guess. Working on my commercial now and getting excited! I am in Ontario right now but am planning on doing my multi-IFR on the west coast. I understand there are some good schools out there.

Mind me asking how you got to the 3000 mark? What sort of jobs did you do?

Thanks!

Flybabe:

Have you thought about looking for Ag Work overseas...maybe Africa?

Chas.

Flybabe,

You might try Westex, If memory serves me right, you had some King Air time and they have just added their 5th one (a 350) to the fleet.

PM me if you would like some contact info..

Cheers

Thanks guys, I appreciate that.

Flyboyz - DHC-6 on floats out of YZF, DHC-6 on wheels and BE 200 in YXS, BE200 and Navajo in YXY, LJ25 in Santa Fe and currently flying ag in the US.. lol keep plugging away you too will build the hours. I should have had more by now but it didn't work out that way. :stupid:

Chas - no I never thought of Africa but might look into that more. Is Zimex still down there?

twotter - thanks for the info, I have your "number" lol 😉

Guess I'd better update my pic to the 402 lol

Flybabe.

Zimmex is located in Switzerland, but Ross Air probably operates more A/C in Africa...

They are based in J-Berg

Best you go to the Africa thread on Pprune.

Chuck

hea question how do you get to fly in africa if you are a CDN pilot????

There are several ways.

You can fly US registered or Canadian registered aircraft as I do or get a license for the country that you are flying in.

Chas.
