We are getting screwed by doug parker with our snap back in our contract .He doesnt want to give SH!@# back. I hope we join forces with NWA instead of crappy Delta ..More power to ya GO NWA. Our cleaners we subed out also. Doug parkers whole objective is to sub everything out. All these mangers getting bonus/perks and CEO's stealing. They want to take from the workers an fatten there pockets its BS.Doug Parker dont want to give us back what we gave up to make usair survive but he will go buy dleta with 8 billion what a joke.

Nothing for nothing, but you didn't paint a very rosey picture of your airline here. 🙁
NW got rid of most their work force, including all their mechanics. Their a/c are scotch taped together. Not many ground workers left, the f/a's are pretty unhappy, etc..etc...
It's safe to say Doug n Andy made sure NW is undesirable, even for a hostile take over.

nwa is a perfect take-over target GC. Consider that they now have all of their employee groups completely under control...and I mean scared to death under control.
Consider that they, upon exiting BK, will be getting a boat load of new money to finance the "recovery". That money will go along way to repay the costs of a take-over. Checchi repaid his costs with leasing the entire fleet...the next boy genius will do it with borrowed money. I'll go as far as saying there will be more than enough money for Doug and Andy's bonuses AND the bonuses for the BOD and the new owners.
Don't forget, if they need a few more million they will go back and take it from the employees. Their pockets are completely open now.

I say the next target for cash give backs are the office workers. I don't know if they cleaned house there or not yet, but I'm sure a good thousand or so can be let go.

"ALL" Unions have capitulated and AMFA at NWA has been broken. There is no solidarity as all the rats are trying to eat the last bit of cheese and when the cheese is elusive, they will gnaw on each other.
The 'Cleaners' were mandated by the NMB to be covered under AMFA. Not a request by AMFA but a mandate by the NMB. After the AMFA strike, the iam gladly performed these duties (SCABBED) until it was outsourced.
Now it is an issue?
