Those in law enforcement should avoid even the appearance of wrongdoing simply because the public tends to take the "where there's smoke there's fire" attitude.  And, when  you have a special prosecutor taking felony charges to a grand jury, there's a LOT of smoke.
 
Now, let's see how long it takes one of the airlineforums.com denizens to defend Mr. Paxton with the "it's only a politically inspired prosecution by Democrats" argument.  In Collin County, Texas???  I didn't know they had any Democrats in Collin County.  Even their illegal alien gardeners have blond hair and blue eyes.
