Kim Jong Il, the second-generation North Korean dictator who defied global condemnation to build nuclear weapons while his people starved, has died, Yonhap News reported. He was 70.

One can only hope. Unfortanetly given their history very little is going to change. They just have to tight of a grip on the North Korean people for anything to really change. Very few people have internet access and almost no one is allowed to travel abroad. When people do manage to escape they are shocked as to the extent they were lied to about the outside world.
