But members of Congress can do the same thing -use non-public information to make stock trades -- and there's no law against it. Steve Kroft reports on how America's lawmakers can legally make tidy profits on information only they know, simply because they won't pass a law against themselves. The report will be broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

I kind of took the opposite point of view.

If Liberal/Progressive Media apologists like CBS can actually figure it out AND go public with their findings then maybe there is some home for the USA.

If Pelosi was a Conservative and the company was Halliburton the outcry would be deafening after a report like the one on 60 Minutes. However the deafening we hear now is the silence.

Historically this country is not proactive. We are reactive in nature. So public apathy and the feeling of helplessness are our biggest enemies. It creates a MSM that feels (Rightfully So) that it can ignore facts and push an agenda which generally does not dovetail with the views of the majority.

No I wasn't, but I'm not surprised. In fact I'd be surprised if there weren't a few hundred Congress Critters involved in this type of thing.

Problem is that for the short term the partisan DoJ will not investigate if any laws were broken even if they could hang Boehner by his toes. Reason being is Pelosi would be right there with him dangling from the limb along with God knows how many others involved in this crony capitalist cabal of crooks.
