Legal Insider Trading

Not everyone. Rep. Louise Slaughter D. NY propsed a law against this very thing back in 2006. It went nowhere of course.
Yes you really need to say "Almost Everyone" I think only 6 Congress Critters signed onto that bill as co-sponsors.

No I wasn't, but I'm not surprised. In fact I'd be surprised if there weren't a few hundred Congress Critters involved in this type of thing.

Problem is that for the short term the partisan DoJ will not investigate if any laws were broken even if they could hang Boehner by his toes. Reason being is Pelosi would be right there with him dangling from the limb along with God knows how many others involved in this crony capitalist cabal of crooks.

OHHH, That was good!!!! Crony Capitalist Cabal of Crooks. I think I just passed "Nattering Nabobs of Negativism"

That's why OWS is a joke.
It's the 'regulators' that need Occupation by the People.
Unfettered capitalism will destroy this country.
Watch and see... 😱

It appears that Congress is jumping on the bandwagon regarding the ending of insider trading by memebers of Congress. this includes current presidential hopeful Ron Paul. I'm just wondering if he was a co-sponser of the original bill that went no where.

I sent an email to my 3 stooges here asking them when they were going to submit legislation to end this 'despicable' practice.

No reply yet....

My view is dell if their name was not on the original bill then they are nothing more than bandwagoneers.

Tell me newbies running against incumbents won't mention the fact that they were 'members'.

In Pa a few went down over keeping pay raises.....this is even tastier.....

I don't think Ron Paul was one of the original Bills co-sponsors. I'd research it but not sure where to begin

My understanding is Ron Paul and Michelle Bachman never took bribes....'er I mean inside stock trades.

Ron Paul returns about $100,000 each year to the US Treasury. He has made most of his considerable wealth in the various precious metals plays. He is heavily invested in Gold and other precious metals. When he was a practicing Doctor he never took a dime in Medicare or Medicaid. The implication has always treated those patients free of charge or whatever they could afford.

None of his 5 Children's education were financed by student loans from the government. Love his views or not he is far and away the most intellectually honest candidate out there. He has put his words into actions in his personal life. Married and stayed married to ONE woman for 55 years when some others can't seem to stay married to the same woman 20% of that time.

I doubt most OB/GYN's get many Medicare claims. 😉

True but delivering babies is not all he did just most of what he did. Love him, hate him he the lives what he believes. It not some sound bite strategy to get him elected.

If he put five kids through college then I doubt he very many his patients were free. And not everyone has the luxury of having a father who's a doctor and not having college loans as a result.
