Yeah I saw King Barack talking all tough on C-Span. Hey he's got his Homie's, Great Britain, France and several Arabic nations in his little Bush like coalition doing the heavy lifting while he's safe and sound over here puffing out his chest llookin' all "We gonna kick yo ass yo" on TV

The majority of the firepower in the initial assault came from Tomahawks launced from USN ships and submarines, along with RN subs. Along with that three B-2 bombers dropped JDAMS.

It appears that other countries are going to be doing the day to day flying over Libya. If that means they are doing the heavy lifting then I say so be it. After almost ten years of war the US military is stretched thin and equipment, along with personel, are getting worn out.

Bombing is great when you're the bomber. Being the Bombee is less great and I can see the videos of this imperialist intervention being shown to young Islamic Jihadists to foment further unrest and re-energize their movement. A re-energizing that could very well result in another 911 type event here or in Europe.

The king, desirous of our minerals and timber wealth sent the military to "Deal with the terrorists". Anybody recall how that worked out for the King of England? Couldn't Valley Forge be called a "Terrorist Stronghold" 1n 1777-78?
