Flinger, Mag's references are typically sketchy (not that they're his, just that they're typically uninformative). Probably the most objective, although comparisons are rarely 'apples to apples', are those of HeliValues, Inc., publishers of the Helicopter Bluebook.
Their most recent are US$140-163/hour, with the III running about $1 cheaper than the II, with increases applicable to certain types of operation (e.g. offshore, aerial app, fire, etc.). Remember that almost everyone has their own definition of what DOC's include, so it's worth checking what YOU feel is included against what the 'author' thinks. B)
