Didn't Swiss just agree to join OneWorld? Not that it would chgange anything, just interesting since talks continue to be this serious.

SWISS needs to joiun ONEWORLD. If it joins Star it will just be a regional airline like Austrian. Star's European membershio is already full, Lufthansa, SAS & Austrian. Oneworld needs an airline in the middle of Europe, Swiss fits the bill. Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Finnair are at the fringes of European Aviation due to small markets or Concentration on one region( Iberia to South America). BA & SWISS would balance this out because they fly all over the world. Swiss and BA see Tokyo, JFK, LAX and South Africa every day.
