Management Layoff-Joke

The management layoff here in SFO at Ual is a joke. Some low level/low pay clerks were let go to try to impress union people that UAL is serious about cutting back. First line supervision (foreman) and middle management were just shuffled around. Kind of like changing chairs on the Titanic. Most of these types couldn't lead a bee to honey. Then there are 5 foreman who were supposed to go back to the union ranks but have never reported. They are on temporary (?) assignment as, Ta-Da "foreman". What a joke. The real layoffs are coming next week when they are going to chop the Inspectors then the mechanics. We will see huge numbers going out the gate and management will say "well we cut our management team so we sharing our sacrafice". (Barf). The whole thing look like it is being designed to fail. 😛h34r:

What you need to understand is that it takes 5 of those low level supervisors/foremen to do the job of 1 competent educated
management type. Most of what those guys do is go over attendance & give out levels. Most had worst attendance before going
over to the dark side. I would rather see those idiots stay and get rid of Tilton & gang.
