I say do something innovative.

Become the Official Airline of "American Idol"
Carrie Underwood the Girl from OKC as our Official Spokesperson.
Isn't that what we need ? Down home middle of the US image ?
Hell we carry enough people for free what's a few hundred more for the exposure.
Who wouldn't wanna fly on an airplane that she endorses.

Or bump AA as the official carrier of Oprah .


The CCY folks have never succeeded at it.

Tempe show them off - and make them look like the losers they are in CCY

The 21-year-old country crooner from Checotah, Oklahoma, won the title of the hit Fox talent show. She beat Bo Bice, the long-haired rocker from Helena, Alabama, who was believed to be the favorite going into Tuesday and Wednesday's season finale.

Underwood won a recording contract and a key to a private jet.
 
Forget Underwood since as soon as next years Idol starts she'll be old news. How about Simon? 😉 OK, maybe not. Ryan?
 
Put the name on the hood of a NASCAR.... like all successful companies do! Can’t believe Southwest hasn’t already done it. Get twice as much national exposure than putting your name on a local sports arena. Every time I turn a on sporting event these days there’s Southwest Airlines.

The question has been answered by Herb. He doesn't want anthing that could Crash with the Southwest name on it.
 
America West has not ever been big on marketing itself. A few quarters ago during the quarterly conference call someone asked about more marketing, and Parker said that they will do most of there marketing in the hub cities (phx and las) but not much, if any national marketing.
 
Sure hope Seth is in line for a big severance bonus. He is looking at a long period of unemployment.

There was a great picture taken of the car with a boeing 767 at GSO or INT, I am trying to find it but I have not had much luck.

whatever racetrack was closet was where your photo was taken. i have a postcard of it. i wonder if the new usairways will get a race car out on the track. it would be a nice way of getting more business
