With that said, my "reading between the lines" is, that GORDO is sending DL the following message;
Priority 1.,
See what(if anything) NW may be offering.
Priority 2.,
Despite 2 US offers, ........Stay "standalone" !!
If i'm reading this right, "that" has to be VERY hard for Bethune to do, especially since he's a "pro-consolidationist"
The bottom line, is that US brings NOTHING to DL's table. HEL*, DL even has their own BOS/LGA/DCA shuttle.
For those DL/US folks that do NOT want to see this "deal go down", I'm quickly starting to feel, that you will have NOTHING to worry about.
We ALL will know, in a mere 14 days !!!!!!
