This question is who, in YOUR opinion, would you want to merge with for whatever reason...

Northwest. Take the routes/slots, the best ( condition-wise ) planes and most employees...then fire all the scabs.

Jetblue because they have similar a/c types and they are junior to everyone here so no labor issues.

A more topical question would be who would want to merge with us.

No one.

US Airways will either be fragmented or will go it alone.

I'd say Aeroflot at this rate we're going...

but seriously if we could merge with anyone my vote goes to AirTran.

I would really love CO for personal reasons - bases closer to home - but I'm sure it will be UA - who knows only 4 more days and then we will know for sure????

Girls, I am just so tired of mergers -- they have ruined our airline. When I started all the gals were complaining about the Lake Central merger. I thought they were just jaded because they had been flying for five years already - 😛 . Well I was hardly on the line when those Mohawk girls came along and caused a huge uproar with the seniority list. Then came Piedmont. Those girls are still uppity until this day with their fake Stepford charm. Now the only good thing that I got out of Piedmont was my third husband Roger, he was a captain in DAY. He was a charming man but we got divorced shortly after he retired off the 727 and got jealous when I started doing transatlantic. Well then those PSA girls came along and they were just all sunshine and west coast fake. They stuck out like a sore thumb around all us nice PIT gals. Then they merged again when I was off sick for a few years with a broken ankle I suffered in turbulence working 782 to Frankfurt. I don't know who they merged with but when I came back we were now usairWAYS. I think British Airways bought us or something. Then came this dreadul merger with American West. They destroyed our PIT hub. I just don't know if I could live through another merger.

I can't believe I'm the only one who chose Midwest. MKE is a growing O&D market due to the north-expanding Chicago populace and has plenty of room to grow.

(I do live in MKE but that's coincidental!)

Well lady you sure know how to make friends.

If a Piedmont F/A and a PSA F/A got together the first things out of their mouths would not be the
"nice" PIT F/A . Living in the rose colored world of PIT in the early '90s does not make things right.

You're going to make me say this but 2 out of the 3 had good reputations and it wasn't US Air.

The arrogance and ineptitude of US Air has caused many before you to experience far worse then what you are/will be experiencing in PHL(it has only taken 10 years to reach you).

Gloria, you have ensured a warm welcome to PHL.

There is no PITBULL to show us how it should be done here and there are far too few of you to make a difference.

As they say when entering the cockpit- you should enter listening.

Are you that ignorant of PHL or do you just not want to know?

T/A is notorious for being hard to break into and I would guess that you just made it a bit harder for yourself.

Welcome to PHL in your uncouth and bullish way.

Which believe it or not you have always been but people have either been too polite or too appalled to tell you. Apparently neither one is a recognizable trait.

Good Luck

PS. US Air as it was is gone, Piedmont won.

Dave Siegel downsized PIT before dougwieser.

TPG and NW all ready purchased Midwest with the deal expected to close in January.
