Mesa Air Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MESA) reported its preliminary traffic figures, on-time performance and completion rate figures for March 2006. Year-over-year available seat miles increased 5.8% in March 2006 to 784 million, compared to 741 million in March 2005. Revenue passenger miles increased 13.6% from 537 million in 2005 to 610 million in 2006. Passenger enplanements increased 13.4% from 1,159,732 in March 2005 to 1,314,528 in March 2006. Year-over-year load factor for the month of March increased from 72.5% in 2005 to 77.8% in 2006.

Mesa Air Group had a controllable completion rate, excluding weather- related cancellations, of 99.0% in March with an on-time arrival performance of 77.0%. Mesa Airlines, which operate regional jets as America West Express, United Express and US Airways Express, had a controllable completion rate of 99.1% in March. Mesa Airline's on-time arrival performance for the month of March was 76.8%. Freedom Airlines, which operates regional jets as Delta Connection, had a controllable completion rate of 99.8%. Freedom Airline's on-time arrival performance for the month of March was 73.1%. Air Midwest, which operates Mesa's 19-seat turboprops under pro-rate revenue-sharing agreements, reported a controllable completion rate for March of 98.0% with an on-time arrival performance of 81.0%.
