Obviously it is a made up story supplied by those right wing radicals at Fox news who will do anything to get a story on.

The article said it was a surface to air missile. Are you saying that the "accurate" part of Fox was not accurate?
I always read Fox. It's nice to keep an eye on the nut jobs and keep tabs on what they are up too.

I have linked Fox before, though typically in conjunction with main stream media sources as well.
Like I said, I will typically peruse Fox and other similar sources just too see what the nut jobs are up to.
I am waiting for an explanation from someone as to how a S/A or tank missile ends up in civilian hands? Seems if there is one, there are more and if it is a S/A, then air travel is at risk. No one seems to be to worried. I hope homeland security is on the job. Yea, I got a warm fuzzy feeling all over.

I think the reason no one seems to be worried is because most people on this forum, and in the U.S. for that matter, already understand that there are illegal weapons in the U.S.... including Surface-to-Air missiles or Anti-tank missiles.
It would really be naive of us to think that these types of weapons are not floating around on the black market (or sheds).

They made no mention of whether it was a live launcher and judging from the end caps...it looked used...but I could be wrong.
I think if it was live they would have made huge note of it.
There was one found in Jersey recently and it was a spent tube.
I'll tell you how serious the gov't takes the missile threat....about one week after 9-11 at PIT the county had all the trees on
approaches cut down like right now...that told me back then we had a serious MANPAD threat.
