It took years for the pilots to get a policy change that allowed no hats.

No they're going to be fighting to get it reinstated with this new hat that the company store has.

Ummm, as silly as this item is, I think that I'll wear it on my last day! I had gone online to the company store to find some token gift for my last customer. After fifteen years, it's time for me to hang up my hat!!

Using those awful things as promotions for community events, even for children, is corporately, well, embarrassing. Marketing representations and associations are important and should be fitting of the institution, oh, wait, maybe they are simply attempting to seek a new low?? 😉 Why not just have the logo put on one of those baseball caps with the two beer cans positioned on either side with the straw? It will catch on as the US CEO driving cap. 🙄 What a mess.

Edited to add: I didn't see the above post until after I'd posted...but, we obviously see things from the same perspective.

They are very expensive and fairly ugly. But overstock.com had a nearly identical clone for $99 delivered. It sure beats having to pack a non-uniform winter jacket for use on layovers.
