Going to Non-Rev to YYZ in a few weeks. Actually haven't travelled out of the US for about 3 years now. When flying to Canada is it still treated like a destination in the States or is it more international now? I know to take our passports but do we have to go through customs or anything coming and going? I realize this seems silly but I do appreciate any help anyone can give.

Thanks! 🙄

It is international and you will go through customs. Have a fun trip

Be sure to take the passports or photo ID and OFFICIAL birth certificate. We have been advised that just a drivers license is no longer valid documentation for entry to either country crossing the border now.
You will clear Customs and Immigration in Toronto both going and coming (preclearance). When you arrive in the US it will be off the plane and away to the connection (or home) unlike coming in from most other countries.
