My dog, not much to look at but very well-informed, tells me management isn't coming to work January 2nd and 3rd.

Who will get the planes out?

Heard most were a NO-SHOW in PHL this weekend.

Fire them all, the nerve of them! ! !

Folks read the Pittsburgh Post Gazette today.

Mangment finally admits that they cut the "employee base" in its attempt to survive this year, and that the weather was the culprit for the holiday fiasco.

How about something more like:

US Airways Unions Lead the Way!

Agreeing to the most realistic agreements for legacy carriers and lowering the bar one more time. An unidentified spokesman for management says "By working together with the Unions, with another round or two of negotiations we can finally clean up these contracts and get the efficiencies of the LCCs". US Airways will finally be able to implement Go Fares systemwide. Unions were still trying to sneak in new and unrealistic pensions which could be unloaded on the PBGC.

Let's give the folks in Crystal City a New Years bonus for helping make air travel affordable.
