You know the 'drill...dell.

Coming very very CLOSE to re-taking the Senate is like that ol' saying.

CLOSE Only counts in Horse shoes and Hand Grenades.
Actually, I'm hoping it's a 50 - 50 split,  so AMTRAK'S favorite Son (Joey B.) can break all those tie votes !

Which is of course why they have actual elections. Look what happened to Cantor. There are a lot of pissed off people out there and they are in a mood to make traditional D's and R's "Pay" for that anger. To me the HoR and Senate is up for grabs by either party. My hope is for one or two Libertarians to win and REALLY shake things up.

AND that poll shows EXACTLY what the ol' BEAR has been predicting all along.
More specifically, the RE-PLUG-BLICANS pick up...AK/AR/LA/MT/NC/ and WV, giving those ASSS-HOLES "50" seats, with Joey B casting a SHIIT-LOAD of tie breaking votes !

OOOPS,.........late breaking news.   Loooong time Kansas (R) senator Pat Roberts is LOSING.
I think he's going to be in a 3-way race facing an INDY.

JESUS,........where is KC FLYER when I need him  ??

IF Roberts loses that seat, FORGET the 50 (R) seats !
I've been TRYING to 'Learn Ya'.....That Brother HARRY...ain't gonna' lose his 'day job' anytime soon !

Roberts is actually in a two-way race for KS. The Democrat dropped out, but stayed on the ballot.

The uninformed voters will continue to vote Democrat for someone not even running.

Much more interesting to predict how the informed voters will go.

RCP's poll has moved KY out of the toss-up category, but replaced it with NH.

Apparently Scott Brown's numbers are going up, and Shaheen's are dropping, even amongst registered Democrats. CNN shows the race as a tie, another poll has them D47-R45 with 8% undecided.

E, recent votes have shown several Dems with large leads up to the election getting beat.

GOP turnout has been good so far.

Like a lot of things NH,.....'quirky' comes into play here.
Jeanne (yes were on a first name basis. I worked on her Governor campaigns and first Senate campaign)  OWNS seacoast NH,.(Think Portsmouth and Durham / U of NH,).....The City Capital Concord, majority of MHT, OWNS the western NH cities of Keene and Dartmouth University region Lebanon/Hanover, southern cities like Nashua / Derry but here's we she always did her homework. She paid Close attention as Governor to the Only city in the northern tier....BERLIN. where she was a Huge help after the paper mills shut forever, and made sure FUNDING was there for not one, but TWO new Prisions.
Brown will do good with the Money People in the very affluent towns.

ALWAYS remember that when the HEAVY DUTY campaigning starts in the last 30 days, NH does not Like CARPETBAGGERS !
And before you start with "well she's originally from Missouri", She's married in the Shaheen Family...who has been in New HAMPSHAAAAAAAA for a long long time !
Her hubby is  an attorney and former district judge.
He's also the OL' BEARS Attorney !
'magin that'  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given how much of NH used to live in MA, I suspect the carpetbagger thing isn't quite as big a deal as you want to make it.

Regardless, there are going to be some fun races to watch as it winds down to November.

But they'll swoon for the queen of carpet baggers, HC.

The November losers have been yapping for six years.
And once the 2000 elections were over, we never heard anyone yapping about elections being stolen?...

Yeah, I thought so.
