Roberts is actually in a two-way race for KS. The Democrat dropped out, but stayed on the ballot.
The uninformed voters will continue to vote Democrat for someone not even running.
Much more interesting to predict how the informed voters will go.
RCP's poll has moved KY out of the toss-up category, but replaced it with NH.
Apparently Scott Brown's numbers are going up, and Shaheen's are dropping, even amongst registered Democrats. CNN shows the race as a tie, another poll has them D47-R45 with 8% undecided.
Like a lot of things NH,.....'quirky' comes into play here.
Jeanne (yes were on a first name basis. I worked on her Governor campaigns and first Senate campaign) OWNS seacoast NH,.(Think Portsmouth and Durham / U of NH,).....The City Capital Concord, majority of MHT, OWNS the western NH cities of Keene and Dartmouth University region Lebanon/Hanover, southern cities like Nashua / Derry but here's we she always did her homework. She paid Close attention as Governor to the Only city in the northern tier....BERLIN. where she was a Huge help after the paper mills shut forever, and made sure FUNDING was there for not one, but TWO new Prisions.
Brown will do good with the Money People in the very affluent towns.
ALWAYS remember that when the HEAVY DUTY campaigning starts in the last 30 days, NH does not Like CARPETBAGGERS !
And before you start with "well she's originally from Missouri", She's married in the Shaheen Family...who has been in New HAMPSHAAAAAAAA for a long long time !
Her hubby is an attorney and former district judge.
He's also the OL' BEARS Attorney !
'magin that' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
