Nwa Mechanics Strike

When the IAM was at NW they did not farm out any heavy checks, but when AMFA took and negotiated a new contract the planes started to get farmed out.

Your IAM farmout post is a bunch of bull.

So I guess you know more than the guys at NWA know eh scab?

You are incorrect.

In the month before AMFA was certified, in other words while the IAM represented the NWA mechanics, NWA had 12 heavy check lines in house - 1 in DLH, 4 in ATL, and 7 in MSP - and 9 farmed out to vendors. In the 1993 IAM concessionary contract, the IAM allowed outsourcing; it was AMFA that managed to put limits on it in 2001.

700 don't let the facts get in your way! 😛

While you stupid asses argue about which union sucks the most, the companies are eating your lunches. Do your dirty laundry at the union hall, while you still have one!

Thats the problem, we dont have one, we just pay dues to scabs like 700UW who work in behalf of the company.

If the Union has many different classifications they represent, it's harder to replace them.

NWA has been working on replacing Amfa since they took over. It was no surprise to see the last offer also included the transfer of work to the IAM. I believe Amfa won the right at UA to represent fuelers, only to turn around and outsource them in concessionary negotiations. Wasn't this a big sticking point between the two groups?

Is their any truth? the mechanic's are striking while telling their spouses or relatives to go to work at NWA?

You calling me a scab?

You are a completly off base.

I have never performed struck work and never crossed a picket line. I helped run strike at my local lodge back in 1992 when the US Mechanic and Related like myself were on strike against US Airways.

I don't work for NWA and I don't perform struck work.

You owe me an apology.

And I don't work on behalf of the company, I have always worked for the membership, I did not sacrifice my personal time and time with my family for the good of any company, only the membership, if you knew anything about me you would know that and what I was involved with last year trying to save my class and craft at US.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

Don't waste your time 700UW. They are lashing out right now. They think it's guilt by association right now. Let them vent, and eat their beans and weenies on line. We'll see who wins this by Wednesday or Thursday.

Dont hold your breath scab.

Scabs try to justify their actions too.

You justify the IAMs actions of performing struck work because the company imposed terms, the mechanics are striking over those imposed terms and you have sided with the company because your group is picking up extra work-struck work, scab. You personally are not doing the struck work but you are advocating and defending your unions decision to scab.

To any real unionist the only difference between you and a scab is opportunity.

Not only is your union working with the company to bust a union but you also come and post inaccurate information about the outsourcing policies at NWA. People like you are the reason why the labor movement is failing, but it gets you out of performing your regular duties I guess. People like you who suck up to get brought in then you all sit around and criticize the membership for "not participating". Going on and on about your personal sacrifices on the union dime. Save your class and craft? You helped destroy it, and no doubt the company and the banks sure are glad that they have people like you in the union.

Guess you have comprehension skill problems.

No wonder why the TWU removed you from office.

See a real man can admit when he is wrong.

Prove to me what actions I have done to be a scab.

I don't work for NWA, and I am not a ESE at NW nor a ramper at US, I have never crossed a picket line and I have never performed struck work.

I don't make the decisions for District 143.

Once again, don't let the facts get in your way.

As any normal person can see BOB is a brainwashed muslin. He is probably the union a$$ that crossed the line today and sabotaged two NW aircraft. I hope the feds drive a stake through his diseased heart.

Lets just shut the whole country down while Bob cries because smater people has more candy than he does.
