Where on earth do you people find this bilge? First, my reading of the info is that 1. it only applies to vets and 2. it says that IF they have insurance coverage THEN that coverage can cover any non-combat related illness or medical needs. IF the vet does not have insurance THEN the VA system will pick up the tab. What part of this (or if this is incorrect) what part of the proposal states that the vet will be stuck with the tab? And please don't tell me you heard it on FOX or CNN. Show me where in the proposal your claim is substantiated.

I guess math word problems are not your strong suit either. If the vets insurance is maxed out that would fall under the "does not have coverage" part and the VA would pick up the tab. Unless you have something from the proposal that contradicts this. Do you? It's a simple "if / then" If they have coverage, then the insurance takes it. If they don't have coverage then the VA takes it.

If you do not like the idea of private coverage taking the bill then argue that point. Lying about what is being proposed to suit your need is not going to make it true.
