USA320Pilot comment: Nobody knew that oil prices would be near $49 a barrel, but this is another reason why employee cuts are going to be deeper tha nwhat could have been negotiated earlier.

Yup.....oil prices spiraling out of control are labor/unions fault too. 🙄

Just add that to our responsibility and obligation list.

one step at a time...just keep those tentative agreements coming...

Like I have posted before, oil prices will not come down(to previous levels), ever. The Chinese and Indians are becoming mechanized and they are competing for a static supply of crude (Thanks to artificial limitations on production). It is basic "supply and demand", pure and simple.

Just curious Pitbull,

You sure seem to always have a lot of negative things to toss into the conversation.

Yet someone as opinionated as yourself, must have ample ideas on how to "fix" things around here. Something in the neighborhood of 2-Billion Dollars worth of fixing...

So, let's hear it...

I'm all for a positive suggestion or constructive idea from you or anyone else on here for a change. 🙂

So, if Bruce is going to have employees pay for the jet fuel, does that mean that they get some money back if the price of fuel drops . . . . . or does that go into company's (Bonner's) pocket?
