One more University to add to the list for Pilot training and a connection to get on with Southwest

You do realize that these partnership agreements simply provide an opportunity to interview with Southwest, and not an actual guarantee of a job, right?...

Of course. Nothing is guaranteed. But it is an easier possibility to get on with SWA. Delta has a similar program, I do believe. Not sure about United, but doesn't AA use their regional airlines to bring in their pilots into AA.
I assure you that SWA will pick the cream of the crop (if you will) when they are choosing from the ranks. And yes, it all pretty much only gets them, maybe, at least an interview. AND they will still have to complete many, many more hours of flight time to get into SWA on some other airline after flight schools.
Certainly E, nothing is a gimmie, no doubt.
