Paramedics load up a stretcher in CLT

Saw a EMS rescue vehicle between 2 Dash-8s today after I landed. I figured a passenger had a health issue. When I walked by the window, the I saw that the paramedics carted off a stretcher of...luggage...yes, 3 pieces of luggage. The lights were flashing like there was an emergency and there was a police truck escort.

Was this a disguised bomb squad??

Was it "luggage" or containers? Could have been organs, I suppose.

Are you sure it was "luggage" and not their equipment? I've seen them come to the terminal with their stretcher loaded with equipment. If they dont have to take the person off in the stretcher, the equipment gets put back on the stretcher to get carried away. No need to lug stuff if you can wheel it.

I doubt it was luggage, the O2 and AED medics lug around get heavy after awhile.
