commission base?? I didn't think you were paid on commission -_- .. in the olden days there were some that were.

Don't you get commission for selling those upgrades? I know HP does.
Pfft only way I'd get a commission is if I booked a charter flight full of pax. hahah.

What is "input NS" on flight attendant paychecks? I had 95 cents in that column.
Payroll is supposed to transition to one system this month or maybe August. HP had some problems about 6 months ago, not sure what it amounted to, my check was never affected, but remember some chatter about it.
AFA66 was very critical about how they resloved it since a single payroll system was in the timeline at some point.
I hope it goes with out a hitch, but look at the other systems that have changed over ETC, public website, DM etc

It was put into place after BK 2 - A Defined Contribution is a percentage of your earnings that is placed into an account for you to manage, much as you can manage your 401-K account, however it is a separate account, and not part of your 401-k plan (if you even participate in 401-k).
Your previous pension plan, a Defined Benefit plan, was abolished and is now managed and paid by the PBGC. (The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, website is www.pbgc.gov)
Both the 401-k accounts and the DCRP accounts are managed by Fidelity and you can access and direct the investment options of your account online at www.401k.com.
You will need to setup online access and passwords and then you will be able to see your balances and change where your money is invested, should you choose to. It is worth your time to choose an investment choice which grows faster than the default account if you do nothing.
The company and the unions did a lousy job of making employees aware of this and educating them.
