While the phony "color revolution" in Iran is covered ad-nauseum by the main stream media, nothing is heard about Peruvian police opening fire and killing two dozen indigenous protestors in the Peruvian Amazon region.
The protestors were angry at decrees issued by the Peruvian president which further violate their rights and open their lands to exploitation by U.S transnationals. Since the protestors are genuine grass roots and not corporately financed or part of some "Foundation" or NGO, the corporate controlled media will not anger their masters by giving this story much attention.
25 civilian and 9 police dead
