I know that Philly has two town hall meeting in Philly today and was hoping that we can receive some feedback on some of the questions and answers.

It would be nice to keep this thread more informational as opposed to an opinion thread.

Philly is clearly the most challenging station in the system and insights into the town hall would be appreciated......just keep it factual and opinions aside if you can.

Doug Parker should go by the old Saddam Hussein playbook and start reading off names of people in the room. When he reads the name, security will take that person out of the room. Parker should then snicker and think well of himself. After awhile, people in the room will start yelling pledges of fielty to Doug so that their name will not be called.

Wait for it.............here it comes................RUN!!! 🙂

THAT is the biggest understatement of the decade. The place is a cluster f*&^ beyond epic proportions. No matter what anybody does, no matter how fair and balanced they try to make it right, Philly will always be Philly and you either work with them or you don't have operations there at all.

so much for staying focused on information

OK, AGAIN...CAN WE LEAVE THIS THREAD FOR INFORMATION ON THE TOWN HALL...PHILLY HAS OTHER BASHING THREADS.

Any info on the PHL town hall yet?? Very interested to hear how it went.

Are you frieken' kidding me?!?!?!?! It's been a full 8 hours since the PHL town hall, and not a single post on what happened. <_<

Everyone sure was itching to post their b & m ing about equipment and the 5 page thread about Thanksgiving dinners. I guess those guys in PHL must have realized DP isn't that bad after all...

Is this thing on?

Heard the same old lines from Management

"Were looking into that"

"Give us a chance"

"Your doing a good job"

"We have to keep costs down"

"Our excecutive pay is in line with others executives"

"We are not going to give raises" (except to management)

Trust us!

Employee reaction was about the same as always

Hang on to your wallets!

Nothing to really report. It was the same old corporate BS roadshow. How many times over how many years can you listen to "we'll look into that" or "give us time" or "we're going to fix the problems in PHL'? IMO it was a waste of time.

- Things got loud and people let DP know how they feel.

- Big Al wasn't there....total BS....he should have been there. Big disappointment to the crowd.

- PHL generates more revenue than any other city, including CLT which has more flights. The company is committed to PHL.

- When questioned about the raises and his pay DP said the newspapers numbers weren't accurate. When asked if fleet will get raises when the company returns to profitability DP told the agent something along the lines of "Don't kid yourself, we're a LCC now".

- There are approx 400 more FSA in PHL than this time last year. That's good except the fact that we lost about 200 experienced agents, and most of the new ones aren't worth crap.

PHL is a quandry. #1 city in terms of rev and customer base and #1 city in terms of sour useless employees! What is a company to do?
