You guys have been spewing the same venom-filled garbage for well over a year now, and yet there hasn’t been a single Northwest “disaster.” If an airplane maintained by a union shop lost an engine and skidded off an icy runway, I suppose that would be due to a mechanical failure rather than the people actually doing the maintenance, right?

It’s time to admit to yourselves that you got your a**es handed to you and get on with your lives.

I don't know of any union or non-union airline employee group that has not "had their a**es handed to them" recently. The only difference is in how it was taken. We (former NWA technicians) chose to not accept the drubbing. Most of us have moved on to leave that hole to the scabs. Only time will tell how the "new" NWA maintenance program plays out.

no its time to get rid of the scabs and the entire mgmt team at scab air and bring back AMFA mechaincs and get a union friendly mgmt team in place who kows how to run an airline and treat employees as an assesst not trash

Sad to say but that will never happen now. The management team will stay and the Ivory Tower apes have had their way. I've only heard of a couple of recalls so its SCABs ruling the day at nwa. Since they don't have to pay for union representation and they most likely won't, the only way to get rid of them is for them to cut their own throats. I've heard of this happening seveal times now with the latest being Doug Shier. I guess his sick time caught up with him. This slow rate of SCAB loss will continue as the bad apples are cleared. It may take some time...time that nwa is hoping it has.
