Question about AA FC service

How does service in FC differ on a transcon between FLL-LAX from a flight like FLL-DFW?

Its going to be more like the FLL DFW. You could do better and take the 777 from MIA to LAX.

I took the 763 between .MIA and LAX. Service was phenominal. I almost fell over when they handed out menus! Better than US's TA Envoy service for sure. Love the handheld IFE's and bose headsets. Great FA's. Good food.

Glad you got good service. I flew flt 649 MIA-LAX last night (Wednesday, 9/26) and noticed a seriously deficient crew compared to the usual. I'm on this flight every other week or so, and usually have very lively, friendly crews in F. These guys were sour, no smiles, nothing.

Drink service was ok, nuts were warm. Had a soda - was given entire can. That was a plus. Menus were handed out. Hot towels were wet but not very warm.

Then, out of the blue, came the salad cart. Beef or Pasta? Entire meal was placed on tray; appetizer, salad and entree.

Now for the truly deficient part: Entrees were barely warm. Scalloped potatoes were a little underdone. Filet was, of course, more juicy and tender than usual (still med rare, which was nice).

Asked for wine and water. Ignored for several minutes. Fished out bottle of water from earlier flight.

Sundae service was a plus, as one FA actually smiled.

Throughout the flight, F pax loitered in the forward galley. 1L jumpseat occupied from 3:00 hour point on (remaining 2.5 hours) only getting up to serve cookies, milk and sparkling water.

Very rare occurence, since service on this flight is usually among the best.
