Ramper Crushed at IND

I would add the same. I have also sent an email to a friend who works in Ind. If he replies with anything I can post, I will post it tommorrow if no one else has posted.

Sorry to hear that, the ramp is a very dangerous place!!! You have to be continuously looking around for ones personal saftey!!!

My thoughts and prayers as well.
Just goes to show how dangerous this job really is. Slow down and work safe ! ! ! !

Just received his reply. The gentleman worked for a contractor. His name is Irvin Knauer a GSE mech. He was working alone(big no no) had pushback jacked up. It fell off the jack stands. Some other guys found the pushback on him & called 911 but it was to late, he couldn't be revived. For his family, I'm sorry for the loss & they are in my prayers.
For ALL OF US NO MATTER WHAT OUR JOBS:
Even though this is not a U employee it is a HUGE REMINDER that we all want to go home at the end of our shifts. No matter what your position, put safety as # 1.
