The official response from AA would be along the lines............"full flights do
not translate into profitable flights"

That the resources used to operate BDL-RDU can be deployed more profitably elsewhere.

The company made an announcement that "going forward" they would concentrate on their "cornerpost" hubs--LGA/JFK, MIA, DFW, ORD, LAX--and reduce flying at the other "major" stations--BOS, RDU, STL, SFO.

Good point.

Notice especially ORD, as AE concentrates on filling the voids left by DL, with regard to the old NW routes that use to be flown from MSP.
(Ex: MSP/RAP...Rapid City SD. which will be flown now.... ORD/RAP)
