I couldn''t find a precise answer in the CARS, but how many hours do you need before you can have a PPC added to your license on a plane over 12,500?

Can you train on an a/c over 12.5 with less than 250 hours?

I believe you can train, and even do the ride, but can''t hold the PPC until you have the 250 hours.

As far as I know...

A PPC is a company specific thing. So, as I understand it, the requirements for a PPC would be specific to a companies OPS MANUAL.

Not so, Trader. The requirements of the PPC are detailed in the Commercial Air Service Standards for the type of operation, and expanded in the Approved Check Pilot''s Manual, although they may well be discussed to varying degrees in different Company Operations Manuals.
