Respect from a front line employee - A CP's perspective

Does anyone know to whom he is referring? I have to say usually when someone does something as customer service oriented as this its usually referring to another carriers employees. This employee deseves to be recognized not just for good customer sevice but for obviously caring about his customers. Im impressed. This needs to be copied and played for all employees, managment included. Maybe your frontline employees need to teach your managment how its done! Mama

there are thousands of US who come to work and do what that FA did. its called work ethic and there are thousands of ground and air folks who come into work and do the best they can with the tools give to them . after 30 years of this i am still amazed when a customer comes up and says hey thanks for helping me out the last time and i look at them and dont remember but say well i hoped i helped. we remember faces and i think that is important you may not know the names but you cant forget a face. its called OUR product. its called an ART. nice finally getting some acknowledgment for the good work that we do.

thank you for the compliment and i share it with my coworkers.. man im sure we have met over the years and let me tell you things are going to get better this division between east and west needs to stop but for the ground folks that is much easier than inflight. hey us/pi was no picnic and believe me it still lingers but not as anything that DL did to PA and what AA did to TW .. what a shame.. if you want to come back give us another chance if not well WE understand. it only takes a hello and say hey i feel your pain and man it does wonders to the customers .. all it takes is listen understand and OWN UP TO THE PROBLEM AND TRY TO FIX IT>>>> then go on. it never ends . its called treating people they same way you want to be treated.. traveling revenue or non rev
